The quickest way to embed a YouTube video in the item description
If you want to sell successfully on eBay, you need to make your listing as attractive as possible to prospective buyers. While it depends on the item you’re selling, sometimes good pictures and a descriptive text are not enough.
It makes a lot of sense to include a YouTube video in your eBay listing description so that customers can watch the product video directly in the auction.
How do I embed a YouTube video in the eBay listing description?
Unfortunately, you can’t use the embed code provided by YouTube on eBay because eBay does not support iFrame code. The code needs to be converted.
If you search for this term with a search engine (e.g., Google, Bing), you’ll find long instructions with many steps to follow. Who has the time to read all of that and then execute it? You might think, “I just wanted a video in my listing description; it can’t be that complicated, can it?”

Where can I find the video URL?
It’s quite simple. Click “Share” under the video and copy the URL, as shown in the image below. Alternatively, you can copy the URL from the browser’s address bar.
As you can see, you don’t need a third-party site to convert the code. Besides, what’s the use of such a site if you have to manually insert the created code snippet into the template anyway? Not everyone has HTML skills.
