Fixed Price Listings Now Only with “Good ‘Til Cancelled listings”
As you probably already know, all fixed price listings can only be set with the listing duration of “Good ‘Til Cancelled listings” for some time now. Your listings are automatically renewed every 30 days. This change leads to your listings staying active for a longer period, significantly increasing your sales opportunities and positively impacting external search engines.
In light of this change, we would like to introduce you to an eBay-specific, free option: “Out of Stock” for fixed-price offers.

Why is this option advantageous?
This option prevents eBay from automatically ending your listing when the item is out of stock. If the quantity drops to zero, the listing is temporarily hidden from eBay search results. When the item is restocked, it will be displayed to potential buyers in search results again. The advantage for the seller is that the entire sales history remains untouched, including the number of sales and the number of watchers.
But beware! If the quantity remains at zero for longer than 6 full 30-day billing cycles, eBay will automatically end the listing. It’s also worth mentioning a downside: even when the listing is hidden, the listing fee is still charged every 30 days. You may be eligible for a credit for the fees charged. Where can I activate it?
You can enable this additional option in Account settings under Selling preferences. The following link will take you directly to the settings, assuming you are logged into your eBay seller account in your browser: activate “Out of Stock” for Fixed Price Listings Now.
What does it have to do with Eselt.de?
The item number and the link to the listing remain the same. This is extremely important for Eselt.de because the program can locate and update your items based on the item number. If you relist an item with a different item number, our program will recognize the listing as different or new. That’s why we recommend enabling this option. This way, you avoid errors when updating your listings.
